Sharon Gary Dill is the owner and primary designer for D’Shacourt Studios, a fashion design studio based in Decatur, GA. Gary-Dill is also executive producer of “An Evening of Fashion and Elegance,” the first in a series of fashion show events highlighting the inner and outer beauty of perfectly imperfect people. Among the models featured in her fashion events, are individuals with intellectual and physical developmental disabilities.
Although she’s participated in multiple fashion shows as a designer, “An Evening of Fashion and Elegance,” is an event that Gary-Dill has produced that showcases her own designs and unique stylings, in addition to the creative work of other up and coming Atlanta fashion and jewelry designers.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharon has a 25-year professional background as a concierge for top hotels, catering to the needs of wealthy socialites, executives and celebrities. She has been sewing since she was five years-old, but didn’t begin taking her love for fashion and design seriously until about 13 years ago. As her fashion design star continues to rise, Sharon has been participating in popular fashion show events with leading southeast designers and has grown her customer base to include film, television and music artists. In addition, she regularly participates in the International Beautiful You Fashion Showcases during Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris, Atlanta, etc.
Gary-Dill was recently honored with the 2017 Special Needs Rock “Fashion Forward” Award by the They Can’t Talk But We Can non-profit for her work in featuring people with disabilities in her fashion shows. She was also recently nominated as one of Atlanta’s 2017 Hottest Fashion Designers by Passkey Choice Entertainment TV and Media Group. In 2018, Sharon Gary Dill has been nominated for Atl's Hottest Fashion Designer and the Rice Award Beauty and Fashion Award.
Sharon holds Bachelor of Science degrees in mass communications and psychology from Clark Atlanta University. The proud mother of three adult children-- Katherine, a chef; Kyle, a teacher and Courtney, also a designer, Sharon is also an avid community servant who volunteers her time serving the disability community and supporting initiatives of importance to her, including eradicating child sex abuse, human trafficking and supporting breast cancer awareness.
